Prior to consulting he was in employment for a period of almost 22 and half years with various reputed corporates in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India viz. CavinKare Private Limited (FMCG), Tube Investments of India Limited (Automobile Tier 2 & Part of Murugappa Group), Orchid Pharma Limited (Pharma), TVS Automobile Solutions Private Limited (Automobile Aftermarket & Part of TVS Mobility Group)
During his employment with TVS Automobile Solutions, as the Group Company Secretary & Head Legal, he was responsible for concluding 25+ acquisition/ JV/ Major Fund raise transactions. He has been responsible for undertaking elaborate Secretarial, Legal due-diligence, negotiation and finalization of shareholders agreements for various transactions. Also handled diversified Boards and Investor Relations.
His responsibilities included conducting Board Meetings/ Shareholders Meetings, Secretarial Compliance, ESOPs implementation and management, taking part in the business strategy meetings, RBI Compliance, taking care of entire legal function involving drafting/ vetting of legal agreements, management of IPR portfolio, litigation management, statutory compliance for a group of companies, setting up internal processes for secretarial and legal departments, developed automated systems in the domain.
